Lundapur is a thrift store. Everything we sell has been worn before, sourced by hand, checked, cleaned and listed individually. This page explains where our stock comes from, what we do to it before it reaches you, and where we stand in relation to the brands whose clothing passes through our hands.
Where our stock comes from
We buy pre-owned clothing, footwear and accessories from two kinds of supplier:
- Local sources in Pakistan — established second-hand dealers, sorting yards and private sellers here in Karachi and elsewhere in the country.
- International sources — graded second-hand stock imported through the established used-clothing trade.
Every piece is bought as genuine second-hand goods that were lawfully placed on the market by or with the consent of their original brand owner. Nothing we sell is new, and nothing we sell is a copy, replica or reproduction. If we cannot satisfy ourselves that a piece is authentic, we do not list it.
What we do before a piece is listed
Nothing goes on the site straight out of a bale. Each item passes through the same routine:
- Inspection. The piece is examined in daylight, inside and out — seams, linings, zips, hardware, labels and stitching.
- Sanitising. Every item is sanitised before listing. We do not launder, dry clean, press or otherwise treat the garment, because we would rather hand it to you exactly as it is than alter it.
- Grading. The piece is given an honest condition description. Marks, fading, pilling and wear are named and located, not glossed over. If a previous owner has repaired the piece, we say so and say where. If we can see something that would benefit from repair, we tell you that too — and we leave the decision to you.
- Photography. The piece is photographed by us, as it is, on our own equipment.
Second-hand clothing carries its history. Some signs of previous wear are normal and are not faults. What matters to us is that you know about them before you buy, not after.
We do not repair, and here is why
We do not mend, re-stitch, re-dye or restore anything we sell. A repair made by us is not part of the garment’s history — it is an alteration, and it moves the piece further from what it actually is. Vintage and second-hand clothing is worth what it is worth partly because it is original.
So a repair you see on one of our pieces was made by someone who owned it before us, and it will be described on the product page. Where we spot something that could be repaired — a loose seam, a failing zip — we point it out rather than quietly fixing it, and you decide whether to have it done.
Cleaning your piece after it arrives
Sanitising is not the same as cleaning, and we want to be plain about the difference. We sanitise every item; we do not wash or dry clean it. Any laundering is for you to do once it arrives.
Before you clean anything, check the care label sewn into the garment — nearly every piece we sell still has one, and it will tell you the safe wash temperature, whether it can be tumble dried, and whether it needs dry cleaning. If the label is missing or has worn away, look up the garment on the brand’s own website, which will usually set out the same instructions. When in doubt on wool, leather, suede, down or anything structured, take it to a dry cleaner rather than risk it in a machine.
Brands and trademarks
Lundapur is an independent second-hand retailer. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any of the brands whose pre-owned products we resell. We are not an authorised dealer, distributor, stockist, agent or franchisee of any brand.
All trademarks, brand names, logos and product names referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners. Where we name a brand, we do so for one reason only: to tell you honestly what a second-hand item actually is. A buyer cannot judge a jacket without knowing who made it. This is descriptive use, and we keep it to the minimum needed to identify the piece.
Specifically:
- We use brand names in plain text, to identify the item being sold. We do not use brand logos, wordmarks, typefaces, colour schemes or marketing imagery anywhere in Lundapur’s own branding, on this website, or in our advertising.
- Every photograph on this site is our own, taken of the actual item for sale. We do not use brand campaign photography, catalogue images or promotional material.
- We do not re-brand, de-brand, relabel or alter any item in a way that changes what it is. Items are sold as the original manufacturer made them, cleaned and where necessary repaired.
- We issue no certificates of authenticity and make no claim to speak for any brand.
- We do not suggest, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting, that any brand has approved, inspected or is otherwise associated with Lundapur.
The lawful resale of genuine branded goods that have already been sold once with the trademark owner’s consent is recognised in trade mark law in Pakistan and internationally — it is what allows every second-hand shop, charity shop and resale platform in the world to operate. We rely on that principle, and we take care to stay within it.

If you own or represent a brand and believe that anything on this site misuses your trademark, misrepresents your products, or that an item we have listed is not genuine, write to us at ahoy@lundapur.com with the details. We will look at it promptly, and we will take down anything we cannot stand behind while we investigate. We would far rather hear from you directly than not at all.
